Note: Used guardrail is not generally accepted on public contracts.

Yes. We provide complete guardrail installation and repair for state, county, and municipal infrastructure, as well as commercial properties, private developments, and industrial facilities across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee.

We supply and install a wide range of Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved systems engineered for maximum impact protection. Types of guardrail needed for each project are determined by the applicable project plans, regulatory standards and specifications. A few examples of commonly used guardrail types include:

  • W-Beam Guardrails: The standard heavy-duty choice for highway and roadway safety.
  • Thrie-Beam Systems: Provides extra width and higher energy absorption for high-risk zones or heavier traffic.
  • Cable Barriers: Flexible wire rope systems commonly used on medians to safely redirect high-speed drift.

All of our installations strictly adhere to the applicable project plans and regional regulatory specifications. This can include various state DOT and local regulatory agencies, as well as federal MASH (Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware) and NCHRP 350 criteria.

Acme has the ability to offer emergency-response services to assess damage, clear debris, and execute temporary or permanent repairs for compromised guardrail. Response times are based on contract requirements and agreed-upon in advance.

Yes, our team manages coordination of utility locating (such as 811 services) to keep your project compliant and on schedule.

Terminal (end) treatments are engineered for use in specific applications based on factors such as speed limit, traffic volume, and run geometry. We install approved tangent, flared, and crash-cushion attenuating end terminals designed to absorb impacts and reduce injuries.

Yes. On public projects, the type of guardrail needed will be determined by the project plans developed by an engineering firm. Local or state DOT specifications may also determine the appropriate guardrail type and configuration requirements. For private guardrail projects, our team can assist with identifying the applicable specifications and guardrail types that apply to your project.
